Funicular fun to the reception
The brief ride became an unforgettable anecdote, serving as the most entertaining introduction to their wedding celebration
The ceremony took place in the magnificent Augustus Garden, where Alessandra and Fabrizio exchanged vows surrounded by a breathtaking scenery and the warmth of their family.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way toward the stunning reception venue, Bagni Tiberio. To get there, they chose a mode of transport certainly outside the usual wedding playbook: the funicular!
What was supposed to be a simple, short journey quickly turned into a moment of pure and unexpected hilarity. Picture the elegantly dressed bride and groom, sharing the cabin with commuters and other passengers who had absolutely no connection to the wedding party! The look of surprise and mutual amusement—both from the wedding group and the unsuspecting fellow travelers—ignited a wave of contagious laughter that filled the carriage.
Then we got the boat that brought us to Bagni Tiberio.
A lavish buffet awaited the couple and their guests at Bagni Tiberio, a historic family-run beach club, ready to delight all the guests by the sea.
The evening culminated with dinner, featuring a beautifully set table. The centerpieces boasted colorful flowers, expertly arranged by Capri Blossom.
As unique placeholders, the guests found delightful handpainted tambourines, an authentic and artisanal keepsake from the island.
The celebration reached its peak thanks to the folk band Scialapopolo, who created such a contagious atmosphere that they got everyone dancing, from the 1-year-old boy to the oldest guest. A perfect finale to a day of celebration!
